    Why are there no prices on this document?
    By design. A packing slip travels with the shipment, often opened by a warehouse worker or a client's receiving desk — not the person who's supposed to see what anything cost. This tool doesn't have a way to show a price even if you wanted it to: there's no price field anywhere in the packing-slip form, and importing an invoice or purchase order strips prices on the way in.
    What does "backordered" mean here?
    It's simply quantity ordered minus quantity shipped for that line, and it never goes below zero — if you ship more than was ordered, the backorder shows 0, not a negative number. It's a same-page calculation, not a live inventory check against anything else.
    Can I import a purchase order into this tool?
    Yes — importing a purchase-order JSON export carries over the vendor as the shipper, the buyer as the ship-to address, and each line's description, code and ordered quantity. Every price and tax field on that PO is dropped in the process; quantity shipped starts at zero so you can fill in what actually went out.
    Does this track what's actually been delivered?
    No — this tool produces one document at a time with no memory of any other shipment. It can't confirm delivery, update an order status, or notify anyone. That kind of tracking across a PO, several shipments and an invoice is what the Ochre app is for.

    You type the items again here, disconnected from any order you actually shipped. Ochre’s closest equivalent — a delivery document that prints the items, quantities and deliver-to address straight from the invoice, with no prices — exists today for India-market businesses under the name “delivery challan”; it is not yet offered everywhere under a plain “packing slip” label.
